Racism arrogantly demonstrates to our mutual Creator, who made all people in His image, that the lives of people of color or born in other territories are less valuable, not due respect, deserving of oppression and abuse with no access to basic guaranteed rights contrary to Biblical principles and America’s Constitution.

Greed and discrimination are the enemies of Texas and the US, submitted to in fear even by those who disagree with racism should not be so desperate to be free from corrupt leaders to be afraid a minority woman can’t win the general election. No one should give any excuse or support for racism or misogyny.

Ruth is the only candidate for this seat that has consistently shown up and delivered results for the people of this district and Texas since 2016 at great personal sacrifice, without bias regardless of party, wealth, race or popularity. Ruth offers hard earned education, skills and experience to impact public policy that serves the people and small businesses of CD5, Texas and America while protecting our most vulnerable populations, our children, elderly, and disabled.

We have seen a bold lack of respect and value for others, encouraged by those that are supposed to be leaders. The words we say matter and could mean death or life. America is better than this. We must return to being able to respectfully disagree while still valuing each other as people, regardless of how we look, where we are from, how much money we have or don’t, our religion or anything else. We all have common needs: to be respected, valued and be able to take care of our families. As our founders said, to have life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Racism and greed has metastasized in our society. Those afraid of the majority minority population shift should want DEI programs, should want equity for everyone now so that their children and grandchildren can experience it later.
