What is the Terrell Jubilee?

In its 43rd year, the Jubilee is a hometown festival that draws approximately 17,000 people. There are many activities over the four days of the event. Carnival, food vendors, arts & craft vendors, 5k run and fun walk, live music and entertainment and many more activities.

When is the Terrell Jubilee?

The Jubilee is usually held the third weekend of every April. This year’s jubilee will be held April 25-28 at Ben Gill and Lion’s Club Parks.

Where is Parking for Jubilee?

Free parking and handicap parking is available at Ben Gill Park. Entrance is 1039 9th St, Terrell, TX 75160. Parking is not allowed in the shopping center parking lot where Brookshire’s is located. That shopping center is private property and towing is enforced.

What does the Jubilee offer?

Along with the booming growth of Terrell, the Jubilee has grown and transformed. This year there will be classic fair food, such as Fletcher’s Corn Dogs as well as local favorites, Boyd’s Boy BBQ and Eddie Deen Catering. Live entertainment will include The Uptown Beggars Band, Kevin Curtis Music and Lara Latin 10-piece Latin Band on Saturday and Karaoke in the Park on Sunday. Swifty Swine Pig Races will be sure to provide a great show and they perform at 12, 2, 4 and 6pm each day. Please see schedule of events for a complete list of acts and time of their performances.

What is the cost?

The event itself is free. The carnival and numerous activities are offered at a cost. Items purchased from food or arts & craft vendors have a charge associated. Entertainment Stage Acts/Live music is free for attendees.

What is Magic Money?

Magic Money is the method of payment for Talley Amusement Carnival Rides and Food. This is for the Carnival and Carnival food booths only. Magic Money is not taken by the other Food Vendors at the Jubilee.
